Delete Your Account
We are sorry to see you go. Below you will find instructions for permanently deleting
your Hoardable account and all associated data.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is
deleted, all of your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
What Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile — name, email, authentication credentials
- All photos — every photo you have uploaded, removed from our servers within 30 days
- Your item inventory — all identified items, tags, notes, and favorites
- Scan history — records of when and where you scanned spaces
- Remaining scan credits — any unused purchased credits will be forfeited
- App preferences — notification settings, display preferences
Tip: Before deleting your account, consider exporting your inventory.
Go to Settings > Export Data to download your items as CSV.
Option 1: Delete From the App
The quickest way to delete your account is directly within the Hoardable app:
- Open the Hoardable app on your device
- Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner
- Scroll down and tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Read the confirmation message carefully
- Type DELETE to confirm
- Tap Permanently Delete My Account
Your account will be deactivated immediately. All associated data, including photos stored
on our servers, will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, send a message
to our support team:

Send an email to support@hoardable.io
with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Hoardable account
- Our team will verify your identity and process the deletion
- You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
Email deletion requests are typically processed within 3 business days. You will receive
a confirmation once your account and data have been removed.
Data Retention After Deletion
- Account profile: Deleted immediately upon confirmation
- Photos: Removed from storage within 30 days
- Inventory data: Deleted immediately
- Usage logs: Anonymized within 30 days (cannot be traced back to you)
- Purchase records: Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for financial and legal compliance, but will not contain personal identifying information
- Backup systems: Your data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which it will be automatically purged
Can I Re-Register After Deletion?
Yes. You may create a new Hoardable account at any time using the same or a different
email address. However, your previous data (photos, inventory, credits) cannot
be recovered. You will start fresh with a new, empty inventory.
