Open Hoardable and tap the camera button. Point your phone at any space — a closet, a shelf, a drawer, a room — and take a clear photo. Make sure items are visible and reasonably well-lit. Hoardable will process the image and identify items within seconds.
Hoardable works best when items are visible and not heavily obscured. Open shelves, drawers, closets, countertops, and garage walls all work well. For packed boxes, try photographing with the box open. The AI handles crowded scenes, angled shots, and varying lighting.
Accuracy depends on photo quality, lighting, and how visible items are. With clear photos, Hoardable typically identifies most visible items correctly, including names, brands, and colors. You can always correct or remove misidentified items. The AI improves over time as we refine our models.
Yes. You can upload existing photos from your camera roll. This is great for processing photos you took before installing Hoardable, or for scanning spaces you no longer have access to.
Yes. If you are not satisfied with the results, you can reprocess any photo to run the AI identification again. This uses one scan credit or counts toward your daily free scans.
Hoardable can identify a wide range of physical items: clothing, tools, kitchen equipment, electronics, furniture, pantry goods, sports gear, books, toys, and more. If you can see it in the photo, the AI will try to identify it.
Yes, when visible. If a brand name or model number is visible in the photo, the AI will include that in the identification. This works especially well for electronics, tools, and kitchen appliances.
Absolutely. Tap any identified item to edit its name, description, brand, or other details. You can also remove items that were incorrectly detected, or confirm items you know are correct.
Yes. You can manually add items to your inventory if the AI missed something or if you want to catalog something without a photo.
Tags are freeform labels you can apply to any item. Type whatever makes sense to you — #garage, #camping-gear, #donate, #kids-room. There are no fixed categories. Tags are displayed with a # prefix but stored without it. The AI also suggests tags automatically when identifying items.
Use the search bar to find items by name, brand, color, description, or tag. Results appear instantly as you type. You can also filter by favorites or browse by tag to narrow down your inventory.
Yes. You can export your entire inventory as a CSV file at any time. Your data belongs to you and you can take it with you.
Every Hoardable user gets 5 free photo scans per day. The count resets at midnight in your local timezone. This is enough for everyday use and casual inventory building.
If you need more than 5 scans in a day, you can purchase credit packs. Each credit allows one additional photo scan. Credits are only used after your daily free scans are exhausted. Purchased credits never expire, so you can stockpile them for big projects like moving or insurance documentation.
One scan processes a single photo and identifies all visible items in that photo. A single scan can identify dozens of items if they are all visible in the frame. You do not pay per item — you pay per photo scanned.
No. Hoardable has no subscription. You get free daily scans forever, and you can purchase credit packs only when you need more. Credits never expire. No recurring charges.
